Sustainable is

Respect

Sustainable Waves embodies the mission of Project KELP, a gathering to empower, inspire, and encourage members of the community to take action in saving the planet wherever possible. Efforts, no matter how big or small, can have profound and positive impacts on our environment. We can all give back and create a better future together for our planet. With each “wave” of progress that we make, we become one step closer to solving the issues our world faces today. If we act now, all generations will be able to see the success of our actions and change can be enacted in the present.

Project KELP (Keep Ecosystem Life Protected) was created through a vision to introduce everyday sustainability to the public, and show how everyone can act in small ways to save our planet.

About the event

Sustainable Waves: 2023 is held on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nation.

Featuring keynotes from community leaders, exhibitors, interactive activities, and you! Sustainable and local light refreshments prepared by Loafe Catering will be provided after the keynotes.

To all members of our beautiful planet, Earth: Welcome aboard, and let’s all join in on the Sustainable Waves: 2023.

This is a FREE and family friendly event for everyone!
