Achievable steps for a healthy planet

PRESS RELEASE
September 25, 2023

Sustainable Waves: 2023 is held on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nation.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA –  Project KELP announced a major event today: Sustainable Waves in Vancouver at UBC’s Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre on Saturday October 14, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM hosted by Milian Chen, founder of Project KELP.

Free for all guests, all stakeholders are integral part of this community. Sustainable Waves 2023 will feature keynotes by leaders from many sectors of the community, information on sustainable choices and spotlight exhibitions from various organizations centering around the environment, conservation, education, public sector, local businesses, clean energy, circular economy, health, and well-being.

This is a gathering to empower, inspire, and encourage members of the community to take action in saving the planet wherever possible.

Efforts, no matter how big or small, can have profound and positive impacts on our environment. We can all give back and create a better future together for our planet. With each “wave” of progress that we make, we become one step closer to solving the issues our world faces today. If we act now, all generations will be able to see the success of our actions and change can be enacted in the present.

Project KELP will share additional conference information in advance of Sustainable Waves 2023 on the website. (projectkelp.com/sustainable-waves)

About Project KELP

If we act now, all generations will be able to see the success of our actions and change can be enacted in the present. With aims that align with and promote the awareness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, we can all be stronger together.
