About Project KELP
Project KELP (Keep Ecosystem Life Protected) was created in 2022 through the Ocean Wise Youth to Sea program along with the funding from the Government of Canada’s Canada Service Corps. With a vision to introduce everyday sustainability to the public and a mission to show how simple incorporating sustainability into life is, Project KELP shows how we can all do our part to save the planet. If we act now, all generations will be able to see the success of our actions and change can be enacted in the present. With aims that align with and promote the awareness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, we can all be stronger together.
